The latest event announced by Peak District hotel and restaurant, The Maynard is an evening with the tribute pop group ’ABBA Revival’, who will be live on stage, on Thursday 5th June.The event is being organised in partnership with South Yorkshire Entertainment and tickets are priced at £28.00, to include a three course meal as well as an exhilarating and entertaining set from one of the best imitations of Sweden’s finest pop quartet.
Paul Downing, director of the Maynard, explained that the ballroom will be transformed into a 70s nightclub, so that the group can strut their stuff in style. Interest in the evening is already high, so those who want to get into the groove at this event should secure their their tickets as soon as possible by telephoning 0114 252 1288.

Cubana Tapas Bar is celebrating National Vegetarian week (19 – 23 May) by hosting an evening full of veggie delights on Monday 19 May.
There will be a full set tapas menu on offer, which will give all diners a selection of 10 delicious vegetarian tapas dishes. The menu includes mouthwatering dishes such as grilled asparagus with manchego cheese, spanish paella and black olive tapenade.
Diners can relax and enjoy their meal whilst listening to the live mellow latino rhythms of Argentinean guitarist and vocalist Guillermo Rozenthuler.

The perennial Sunday problem of whether it’s too late for breakfast or too early for lunch has been addressed by Nonna’s Italian restaurant on Ecclesall Road, which has just launched a new brunch menu.
From home made buttered crumpets to eggs florentine and Omelette Arnold Bennett, the menu has something for everyone. The Sunday Brunch menu is available from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Eat first, then decide later if you’ve indulged in a late breakfast or an early lunch!

The new look Leopold Square development is fast becoming one of the hottest places to eat out in Sheffield, as new restaurants continue to open their doors. Already established there are Aagrah, Platillos and Strada and the latest to open last week was the Asian noodle chain Wagamama.
