Authentic Japanese Sushi restaurant opens in Sheffield

Sheffield now has its very own Japanese Sushi restaurant, complete with a traditional ‘Kaiten’ conveyor belt which transfers dishes of food to waiting diners who make their selections as it goes round.

Located on Campo Lane in the city centre, Sakushi is presently open 6 days a week, but is due to open 7 days a week from November.

For novelty value alone, the restaurant should be a hit with diners who want to try something a little bit different, but it may also be able to stake a claim on the healthy eaters in town, as Sushi is held in much esteem as a low fat and nutritious meal. It is a staple food in Japan and the population there is said to have one of the longest life expectancies in the world.
