If you’ve ever wandered down Sharrow Vale Road, browsing in the range of eclectic shops, the chances are that you’ll have popped into or passed by Cafe Ceres. 

Tucked just behind the Hunter’s Bar roundabout, Cafe Ceres has been serving up traditional breakfasts and lunches for many years and now they also have Bistro nights three nights a week.  Some of their French bistro classics such as Beef Bourguignon and Tarte à l’oignon are so popular with customers that they have earned a fixed place on the blackboard menu. 

With a bring your own policy for wine, Cafe Ceres is a great place to head for a night out without breaking the bank.  Bistro nights are Thursday to Saturday, when they open until around 9:30 pm, with the last table booking for 7:30 pm.
