There is good news for any fans of Platillos because they’ve now joined our online booking network, making it quick and easy for you to book a table there at any time.
They have a restaurant upstairs, but they also serve some lovely wines and tapas style platters in the downstairs bar too, making it a great place to meet with friends after work!
A few more Sheffield restaurants have joined our on-line booking network, making it easier for diners to make a booking at any time of the day or night.
One of them is new restaurant ChaoBaby, which is due to open shortly in Meadowhall, bringing a taste of Thai to the centre. ChaoBaby is part of the Chaophraya restaurant group which features Thai food with a contemporary twist. The Sheffield Meadowhall restaurant is due to open shortly and you can book on-line now.
The other restaurants to join the online booking network are Bella Italia at Valley Centertainment, Chiquito at Meadowhall and Giraffe at Meadowhall.

Hmmph, today is apparently the ‘meteorological’ first day of Autumn. Did we miss the summer somehow?
We’re still hoping for a bit of an Indian summer for a last blast of sunshine, but have to admit that down on our veg plot there are definite signs of slowing growth in the summer crops, so it looks as if they agree with the Met Office at least.
As we all change gear and start to prepare for our winter woolies and boots, we do at least have a few festivities to look forward to, with Halloween and Bonfire Night on the horizon.

To commemorate British Food Fortnight’s 10th Anniversary ‘Love British Food’ has launched a survey to identify Britain’s favourite food spot.
If you’d like to help to put Yorkshire more firmly on the food map, don’t forget to cast your vote. After all, Yorkshire is the home of so many food jewels including Yorkshire Forced Rhubarb, Wensleydale cheese and the good old Yorkshire Pudding. Not forgetting of course, our very own Henderson’s Relish.
Voting is now open and the winner will be announced at the start of this year’s British Food Fortnight which runs from 17th September – 2nd October 2011.
British Food Fortnight is a national celebration of the diverse and delicious range of food produced by Britain.
