Pay £16 for £40 worth of food for two at 1855 restaurant Sheffield
Cubana Tapas restaurants on Trippet Lane have now released their 2010 Christmas menus for early birds wishing to get ahead of the game with Christmas meal planning in Sheffield.
The daytime Christmas menu is £14.95 per person and the evening Christmas menu is £22.50 per person and each consists of a wide range of tapas dishes to share with your Christmas party companions. A £5 deposit is required for each person booked and the Christmas deals are available between December 1st and December 30th.
If you fancy yourself as a roving gourmet, but like to practice good Yorkshire thrift, the latest deal we’ve found will be right up your street. For just 99p, you can get a 3 month Gourmet Society Dining Card which gives you up to 50% off at restaurants throughout the country.
It is apparently valid at a wide variety of restaurants, from the fine dining establishments of chefs such as Marco Pierre White and Gary Rhodes to chains including Cafe Rouge. Once you have your card, you can log on to the Gourmet Society website and get details about specific deals at which you can use your card.

Following the success of their Moroccan evenings earlier this year, Otto’s Mediterranean restaurant have three more Moroccan nights planned for Sundays 15th August, 12th September and 17th October.
They will follow the same format as before and will include a three course Moroccan menu, with live belly dancing from Sofire Rose. Diners are once again invited to dress Moroccan style to get into the swing of things.
The cost is £25.50 per person and a deposit of £5 per person is required to book. A range of Moroccan and Tunisian wines will be available for £3.50 a glass, or you can take advantage of the ‘bring your own wine policy’ for a corkage charge of £2 per bottle.
